Can't wait for March 12th 23.12.2001

...because that's when the new Meshell albums hits the street!! This just arrived in my inbox:

Meshell Ndegeocello's upcoming album, Cookie: The Anthropological Mixtape will be released on March 12, 2002 (the date has changed).Produced by Allen Cato (her longtime guitarist) and Meshell, it features guest appearances from Talib Kweli (Black Star), Caron Wheeler (Soul II Soul), Lalah Hathaway, Marcus Miller, and the legendary Michael Hampton (Parliament/Funkadelic).

Read a review of the album here. This album will get some heavy rotation on my wheels of steel, if they release it on vinyl that is.
