DVD Jon omgår iTunes DRM 18.03.2005

Jon Lech Johansen, den norske teenager der brød DVD-koderne så han kunne afspille sin egenkøbte DVDere på Linux, har gjort det muligt at købe sin iTunes Music Store musik uden DRM.

Det viser sig, at de filer man henter ikke indeholder DRM fra starten men, at programmet (iTunes) tilføjer det til filen når man henter den.

Ved at bruge en alternativ klient, kaldet PyMusique, kan man hente numrene uden de bliver inficeret med DRM.

Lad os se hvor lang tid der går før Apple får lukket for det lille hack.
