Jon Spencer demonstrates the Theremin 15.08.2007

Best comment on the movie:

I think it's good for little kids to see someone humping a theremin at least once - how else do they learn how to do it. It's FUCKING EDUCATION!

If my brother hadn't showed how to pleasure a theremin when I was 12, christ knows where I'd be today.

I've always wanted to play a theremin. I wonder where you can get one?

Would have liked to see someone playing something a little more like music there, though.

Hi Graham, nice of you to drop by! How are things? (:

Regarding the Theremin, it's the whole educational aspect I was focusing on, but I am sure YouTube will provide with some proper examples of actual music being played.

Dunno where to buy them though, I am not sure they carry them in any local musicstore, bit of a freak instrument.

I was part of a musicevent at a festival once, where a guy actual turned a plant into a Theremin, using some pretty simple components, so it shouldn't be too hard to build one yourself.
