Brent Simmons excellent Mac OS X application NetNewsWire Lite is updated so frequently it is hard to keep up with the pace. But it's worth getting the updates, because it gets better with each and every one of them. It is my favourite home-tailored newsstand, only downside to it is that there are too many things you like to keep track of.

For all the hard-hat "macnatics" out there, who just wants the macnews served in a similar pleasing package, get MacNewsWire, a desktop interface for Brents own MacNews site. Also gets an A+ from here.
